Indian Association of Structural Engineers, incorporated in India in 2002 under the Societies Registration Act,1860, has been formed in response to the strongly felt need of Structural Engineers in India to come under a single umbrella of a professional society.

The name of the Society is "INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS , hereinafter called the "Association"

The Registered Office of the Association shall be situated in the Union Territory of Delhi, presently at Q-24, Jangpura Extension, New Delhi 110014.
